Magnetic-Hall Contactless Linear Position Sensors

The Magnetic-Hall Contactless Linear Position series are based on true solid-state ‘Hall-voltage/magnetic-field’ measurement technology, which provide a long life, low noise output sensor for harsh environments. Compared to similar position sensor products, they benefit from improved output signal linearisation over the measurement range, overall sensor accuracy and higher operating temperatures. Long life is assured, as there is no electrical contact between the sensing circuit and the activating shaft. With a measurement range up to 300mm (12″), they offer a versatile position measurement solution in control and monitoring systems that experience severe shock and vibration or suffer fluid and debris contamination.

MHL1000 Series

The MHL1000 Magnetic-Hall Contactless Linear Position series is an extremely lightweight and compact two piece sensor, which is designed to be maintenance free. With the absence of any mechanical linkages, this robust sensor is suitable for use in harsh environments where debris, fluid and vibration are present. The individual measurement range can by specified by the customer in 1mm increments.

MHL1100 Series

The MHL1100 Magnetic-Hall Contactless Linear Position series is a lightweight and compact sensor, which is available with a choice of mounting options, body clamp, spherical rod end bearings and quick release ball joints. Constructed with a Ø11.0mm ultra slim aluminium alloy case and a stainless steel shaft, they are suitable for high temperature, vibration and fluid conditions.

MHL1200 Series

The MHL1200 Magnetic-Hall Contactless Linear Position series is an innovative short stroke design, which operates with a stainless steel shaft guided within the sensor case for ease of installation. Available with either a ‘free’ or ‘sprung’ shaft, they are designed for direct surface mounting for high temperature, vibration and fluid conditions. The individual measurement range can by specified by the customer in 1mm increments.

MHL1300 Series

The MHL1300 Magnetic-Hall Contactless Linear Position series is a lightweight and rugged sensor, which is available with a choice of mounting options, threaded shaft, spherical rod end bearings and quick release ball joints. Suitable for high temperature, vibration and fluid conditions, they are constructed from a rectangular aluminium alloy case for direct installation on to a flat surface.

MHL1400 Series

The MHL1400 Magnetic-Hall Contactless Linear Position series is a lightweight and rugged sensor, which is available with a choice of mounting options, body clamp, spherical rod end bearings and quick release ball joints. Constructed with a Ø14.0mm aluminium alloy case and a stainless steel shaft, they are suitable for high temperature, vibration and fluid conditions.

The MHL1600 Magnetic-Hall Contactless Linear Position series is an extremely rugged sensor, which is available with a choice of mounting options, body clamp, spherical rod end bearings and quick release ball joints. Constructed from a Ø16.0mm aluminium alloy case and a stainless steel shaft, they are suitable for high temperature, vibration and fluid conditions.
